INDIAN ISSUED DOCUMENTS TO BE USEN IN OMAN

We need Oman Attestation for:
·         Applying a Resident Visa, Employment Visa, Family visa, visa for parents, job visa, spouse visa and change of visa status in abroad.
·         Changing the profession and Transferring a Job.
·         Applying a school admission in Oman.
·         Changing the designation for family status in Oman or to get a higher salary.
·         Adding the name of spouse in the Passport.
·         Attending an interview, tests or MOH Exam and writing exams for Oman.
·         Getting medical allowances.
·         Registering the marriage in Oman.
·         Registering a birth in Oman.
·         Applying a passport through a single parent, etc.



PURPOSE OF ATTESTATION ON THE BASIS OF DOCUMENT

 Education Certificates–

a) Attestation on the education certificates is required to obtain an employment visa or labour card for most of the company assigned designations, such as Executive, Manager, Vice President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) etc.
b) To pursue higher education in Oman.
c) To appear for Ministry of Health (MOH) and Dept. of Health (DOH) examinations by doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory, technicians, etc.
d) To get the equivalent certificates.

 Non Educational or Vital Certificates–

a) Attestation on non-educational certificates is required to obtain residence visa for wife, children, in-laws
b) In case of children, school leaving certificate or Transfer Certificate will also have to get attested from the respective Embassy.

Experience certificate –
a) Attestation of experience certificates is majorly required by doctors, nurses, pharmacist, lab technician and other specialised professionals. You must also carefully note, that if you are planning to appear for Ministry of Health (MOH) and Department of Health (DOH) examinations, it is mandatory to get your experience certificate attested from the respective Embassy.
THE CERTIFICATE ATTESTATION PROCEDURE FOR OMAN:
For Education Documents:
Step 1: Attestation from State Education Department of the concerned state (Regional Attestation Centre/HRD/GAD).
Step2: Attestation from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) 
Step3: Attestation of Translation and original documents from Embassy of Sultanate of Oman, New Delhi.
Step 4: Attestation from Oman Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For Non-education Documents:

Step 1: Attestation from State Home Department of the respective state.
Step2: Attestation from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)
Step3: Attestation of Original Documents from Embassy of Sultanate of Oman, New Delhi.
Step 4: Attestation from Oman Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


REQUIREMENTS:
·         Original document and
·         The passport copy of the document holder.
